What's your favourite ice cream flavour?

The text in this story is simple and repeated so that it is easier for young readers to read alone - but even little stories like this need an idea to get them going. I love ice cream, but I don't have it very often - I think that makes me enjoy it even more when I do have it. The only problem is finding somewhere that has really nice ice cream when you have decided that you are going to buy some. That is the problem that Ted, the young boy in this story has.

To make the story more interesting, I tried to think of different sorts of places that you could go to get ice cream. I think that Valentina, the illustrator did a great job of creating characters to go in these places.

None of the characters have got names. Can you think of good names for them?
